chapter two — the loom
Watch the threads align as you travel.
Weaving has four movements, and so does software. Real weaving vocabulary, because it maps exactly — the diagonal you're descending is called a twill.

The warp is the structure every thread will cross. Ours is the data model: field interviews, constraint analysis, a normalized database designed before a single screen exists.

Features pass through the structure, over and under — web interfaces, mobile collection that works offline, APIs between institutions. Legacy data migrated thread by thread, with integrity checks.
03 · selvedgeSeal the edge
The selvedge is the self-finished edge that stops cloth from unraveling. Ours: audit trails, role-based access, backup drills, compliance encoded as tests — before anyone calls it done.
04 · cut from the loomHand it over
Cloth only becomes clothing off the loom. We train the local team, write the runbooks, set up hosting they control — then step back. Our longest handover has run for eight years.
